Curation without Compromise

Teravine is not a standard wine portfolio; it is an international scouting mission. Every bottle bearing the Teravine name has been tracked down, vetted, and brought to light under the singular, exacting lens of Ned Goodwin MW.

As one of the world's few Masters of Wine—a title held by just over 400 individuals globally—Ned has spent his career navigating the fine lines between technical mastery, raw terroir, and emotional resonance in glass. His work spans decades as a critic, educator, presenter, and winemaker, giving him an unparalleled passport into the world’s most reclusive cellars.

The Philosophy: Translating the Site

At Teravine, our sourcing philosophy is strictly focused on low-intervention, single-site expressions. We search for vigneron-driven wines that tell the unfiltered story of where they were grown.

"Wine should never be manufactured; it must be translated," Ned notes. "We consciously seek out parcels from growers who strip away the noise of heavy chemical manipulation and excessive oak. We look for pristine fruit, vibrant acidity, and structural honesty—wines that speak clearly of their origins, whether born from ancient soils in Europe or hidden pockets of Australia."

The Allocation Model

Because we deal exclusively in low-intervention parcels from small, independent estates, our quantities are intrinsically limited. These wines are rarely found on mainstream commercial retail shelves, appearing only within a highly selective handful of artisanal fine wine merchants.

To secure these rare volumes, Teravine operates strictly via a private allocation list. Members are granted exclusive first-rights to secure upcoming releases well ahead of the shipment landing in Australia. Each allocation represents a cohesive, globally sourced collection hand-picked by Ned, offering our community an exclusive, curated masterclass in a box.
